Deborah has been a parishioner of St. Agnes for the past 40 years, and has worked for the parish for the past 18 years. Deb and her husband Jeffrey have 2 children and 3 granddaughters with one more on the way. She is always happy to answer any questions you may have.
Director of Student & Young Adult Ministries
Chris recently joins the Christ Initiative with a background in writing, graphic design, coaching soccer, and college residence life. He isa graduate from the University of North Carolina Wilmington, and joins the pastoral team to grow ministries for high school students and young adults. Growing up, Chris was a member of every youth group he could find, and attended every Catholic conference he could get to. On his days off, Chris enjoys watching soccer, playing guitar, and going to the beach.
Director of Collaborative Music
David comes from the Pacific Northwest to serve as Director of Collaborative Music for the Christ Initiative. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Music from the University of Portland in Oregon and his Master of Music in Classical Composition from the University of Denver in Colorado. His prior work in liturgy and music comes from directing collegiate and church choirs from Oregon and Colorado. He has a deep passion for the Eucharist and great commitment to have music serve Liturgy. As an Oregon native, David enjoys exploring the outdoors as much as attending Symphony concerts. He is excited to be making more adventures in the greater Boston area.
Director of Adult Faith Formation & Evangelization
Rachel happily joined The Christ Initiative in October as the Director of Faith Formation & Evangelization. She graduated from Franciscan University of Steubenville with a BA in Communications and a minor in Theology. While studying there, Rachel was very active in their SENT program (Student Evangelization Networking Teams), where she organized groups to facilitate retreats at local parishes and schools. Rachel loves live music and previously worked as the P.R. Coordinator and Co-Producer for SoulFest and New Sound Concerts, New England's Largest Christian Music Festival. During her spare time you can find her engaged in community theater, hanging out with her adorable nieces and nephews or enjoying the outdoors.
Director of Youth Faith Formation
Steven Antonio DiMascio (goes by Steven Antonio) joined The Christ Initiative as the Director of Youth Faith Formation for grades 1 through 8. Steven has over a decade of experience working with parishes throughout the Archdiocese, in the communities of Belmont, Weston, Lincoln, and Salem, leading ministries for middle school and high school youth, adults and recently families.
Steven’s experience in high school youth ministry helped to form his faith, his college years (volunteering as a Life Teen Core member) helped him strengthen his faith, and his time in professional ministry has helped him see faith as a guiding light to becoming a disciple, welcoming all to encounter the love, joy, and mercy of Jesus Christ.
Karen works at The Christ Initiative as our Business Manager through Andover Administrative Services. She handles the finances for both St. Rose of Lima and St. Agnes and is an important member of our team and office staff!
